Formerly known as the Concourse when it opened in 1974, the Downtown OKC Underground is a series of tunnels and skywalks that connect a large part of Oklahoma City’s Central Business District buildings and parking structures. The system is about one mile long covering more than 20 square blocks and includes a variety of businesses, such as cafes and restaurants, a bank and a post office. The Underground also hosts many photo galleries and art installations within its neon glow of contrasting colors throughout the halls. While not every business within The Underground is accessible to filmmakers, the tunnels themselves, which are maintained by the Downtown Business Improvement District and Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership, have welcomed several film productions, including most recently “All Terrain”, which filmed in Oklahoma utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program.
