IP Thirteen Minutes, Inc., in association with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), is pleased to announce the start of production of the feature film “Thirteen Minutes”. Principal photography began in November with Oklahoma City, El Reno and Minco serving as primary locations.
Written, directed and produced by Lindsay Gossling (“Un Traductor”), “Thirteen Minutes” follows four families in a heartland town who are tested in a single day when a tornado hits, which forces their paths to cross and redefines the meaning of survival. Seventy-five percent of the crew, and approximately fifty percent of the cast, are local Oklahoma hires.
The film stars Golden Globe nominated Thora Birch (“The Walking Dead”, “The Last Black Man in San Francisco”) joined by Peter Facinelli (“Twilight”), Tony Award nominated and Emmy award winner Anne Heche (“Chicago PD”), Trace Adkins (“The Lincoln Lawyer”), Amy Smart (“Road Trip”, “Just Friends”), Will Peltz (“Euphoria”, “Unfriended”), Sofia Vassilieva (“My Sister’s Keeper”) and Paz Vega (“Rambo: Last Blood”). Cassian Elwes (“Lee Daniels’ The Butler”, “Mudbound”) and Travis Farncombe (“Un Traductor”) act as executive producers with Karen Harnisch (“Sleeping Giant”) as producer.
