The Oklahoma Film and Music Office (OF+MO) is proud to be a returning presenting sponsor of the 2020 deadCenter Film Festival, which will now be held virtually June 11-21, 2020 in response to the current health and safety regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Celebrating its 20th year, deadCenter’s unprecedented decision to move forward virtually has allowed the festival to boast its longest run and largest number of films ever. Festival pass holders and online attendees will be able to access over 140 films, cast reunions, film classes, panels and special events taking place over the event’s two-week run.
This year’s festival features 30 films made in Oklahoma or produced by Oklahomans, including the world premiere of two films, “Birdie” and “Breaking Them Up”, both of which utilized the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO.
As part of its sponsorship, OF+MO will be hosting two days of film educational classes and festival ICON panels Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, which will be streamed live via the festival’s website and social media platforms. Viewers will be able to access the educational classes for free while the film ICON panels will require the purchase of a festival pass. More details will soon be announced regarding confirmed guests for these classes and panels.
